Join the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand?

Membership of the Vintage Car Club is open to anyone and we are always on the lookout for new members.

All membership fees include a subscription to Beaded Wheels, our National magazine,  as well as any Branch Newsletter that may be produced in your local area, most branches run monthly meetings, clubnights and a variety of motoring events catering for the diversity of our membership. New Zealand members are also able to obtain substantial insurance benefits by registering through Vero Insurance Ltd with whom we have a strong and supportive association.

To become a member you need to contact the secretary of the branch you wish to join to confirm their membership costs. The completed application form and money is then forwarded to the Branch Secretary who once approved by their branch, forwards it to the National Office for processing.

If you are an overseas resident wishing to join the overseas group as opposed to a New Zealand Branch, please contact the National Office.

Fees
Our Joining  fee for overseas members is  $72. Contact your local branch for details of their Branch fees.

Some branches may request you attend a meeting prior to membership being accepted

You do not need to own a club eligible vehicle to belong to the NZVCC, however here is a list of the official classifications of club eligible vehicles.

Veteran Vehicles-Motor Vehicles constructed prior to 31st December 1918
Vintage Vehicles - Motor Vehicles constructed between 1st January 1919 and 31st December 1931
Post Vintage Vehicles-Motor Vehicles constructed between 1st January 1932 and 31st December 1945
Post War Vehicles-Motor Vehicles constructed between 1st January 1946 and 31st December 1960
Post 1960 vehicles-Motor Vehicles constructed after 1st January 1961 provided that no vehicle is accepted for this class until January 1st of the year that is thirty years after its original year of construction
Factory Built, and Historic Racing Vehicles -as described in the Club By-laws.
Period Specials- as described in the Club By-laws
