Clarifying P60v class eligibility
We are now in 2008. This means a vehicle manufactured in 1977 is now eligible for the P60V class. This class is worded as follows which means that the year rolls over annually so a 1978 vehicle will be eligible from the 1st January 2009.
e) Motor Vehicles constructed after 1st January 1961 provided that no vehicle is accepted for this class until January 1st of the year that is thirty years after its original year of construction, such vehicles to be known as Post 1960 Vehicles.

Join the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand?
To become a member you will be required to contact the branch secretary of the branch you wish to join to confirm their membership costs. The completed application form and money is then forwarded to the Branch Secretary who once approved by their branch, forwards it to the National Office for processing.

If you are an overseas resident wishing to join the overseas group as opposed to a New Zealand Branch, please contact the National Office.
